We look back on an unforgettable summer that has left a wonderful mark on our lives. <\/em><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.msd-online.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/DSC01848-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-286835\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.msd-online.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/DSC01848-980x551.jpg 980w, https:\/\/www.msd-online.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/DSC01848-480x270.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This was the second time we\u2019ve been able to run our BNE Rome project. So this summer, too, we were at the IBEI Bible School with a group from Switzerland. Together, we delved into the Acts of the Apostles and studied the Epistle to the Romans. We learnt about early church history in a very accessible way whilst in the city of Rome. Through outreach on the streets, we were able to connect with people, give them gifts and talk to them about Jesus. Of course, the time was also filled with shared worship, Bible reading, as well as sport, leisure activities and deep fellowship.     <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first 30 days at Bible college were extremely valuable and provided brilliant preparation for the 10-day mission trips. For these, we formed small teams and sent them out to Volterra, Naples, Sicily and Abruzzo.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What could be better than being able to look back on such a time with a heart full of gratitude? God has done and changed so much. We\u2019d love to share a few stories:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One participant had had a visual impairment since birth. God healed her after a time of prayer. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An Italian woman living in poverty took part in one of our worship evenings. On that evening, she was deeply moved, encouraged and uplifted by a spontaneous financial donation. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shortly before a street outreach in Naples, one participant experienced a breakthrough from fears that had been plaguing him for some time during a personal, profound time with Jesus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Peu avant une action de sensibilisation dans les rues de Naples, l\u2019un des participants a connu une v\u00e9ritable lib\u00e9ration des peurs qui le tourmentaient depuis un certain temps, lors d\u2019un moment intime et profond pass\u00e9 avec J\u00e9sus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En se r\u00e9conciliant avec une partie de son pass\u00e9, une participante a pu red\u00e9couvrir l&#8217;appel de Dieu dans sa vie.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nous sommes touch\u00e9s de voir \u00e0 quel point J\u00e9sus prend toujours en compte chaque personne, l&#8217;aime sans condition et va \u00e0 sa rencontre l\u00e0 o\u00f9 elle en est. C&#8217;est pour cela que nous voulons poursuivre dans cette voie et investir dans de tels projets. Les pr\u00e9paratifs pour l&#8217;\u00e9t\u00e9 2027 sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 en cours et nous attendons avec impatience ce que l&#8217;avenir nous r\u00e9serve.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who would have thought that even cleaning a toilet could shape and change a person\u2019s life?
