In 2026, it will be that time again: The soccer world will be eagerly awaiting the Soccer World Cup. The tournament will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Millions of people will be on the edge of their seats, cheering, and dreaming along with their teams.

But as significant as these moments may be, many achievements are quickly forgotten. Titles are lost, and records are broken. What is celebrated today is often just a footnote tomorrow.
In honor of the World Cup, MSD has developed a tool to help people talk about Jesus. In this article, I’d like to introduce this product to you.
The product is called “The Unforgettable Victory” and is a business card available in the shop. A questionnaire was developed for this purpose, which can be found in the attached PDF. The idea behind it is to show people how quickly worldly successes fade into oblivion and how unique the victory of Jesus Christ on the cross was—so much so that it remains of central importance to this day. The business card then directs people to the soccer section of Godloves.me.
Starting with the questionnaire and the game makes it easy to strike up a conversation, and within a short time, it’s possible to reach a level of depth that goes far beyond soccer and next week’s weather. I’d be delighted if I could encourage you to share the Gospel with someone in this way.
Using a similar questionnaire during the European Soccer Championship two years ago, I was able to have some truly meaningful encounters. I saw how people were led to reflect on these topics, and how the Gospel could be shared with them. The conversations didn’t feel forced or unnatural—they were joyful and simple.
The website has also been updated for the World Cup. It’s shining in new splendor and looks forward to your visit at https://godloves.me/fussball
