After 7 years at msd, I’m moving on. With a heart full of gratitude, I look back on this valuable time and look forward to what lies ahead.

In 2018, I graduated from Bible school in Karlsruhe. It was a very valuable and formative time that broadened my horizons immensely. After finishing Bible school, I was full of drive, idealism, and ideas for changing the world and the church.

At the Open Heaven Days in 2019, I approached Kusi Staub and asked what the msd was and whether there might be a place for me there. One thing led to another, and so about seven years ago, I had my first day on the job at the msd. It was an open door for which I remain very grateful to this day.

For me, the msd was never just an ordinary job. It was a place where I was able to grow. I was taken seriously, supported, challenged, guided, and encouraged. I’m especially grateful for the family-like atmosphere within the team, the trust placed in me, and the opportunity to complete my theology studies at the IGW alongside my job.

A lot has changed during this time—my view of God, of myself, and of the world. Some certainties have turned into questions, while others have deepened. I’ve learned that faith doesn’t mean having an answer to everything, but rather trusting. God is greater than my horizon and sees the big picture. That gives me the freedom to approach the next phase of my life with openness and curiosity.

Thank you so much for all your support and prayers! I’d love to stay connected with msd. I’m happy to carry the desire to connect people with God with me as I continue on my journey.
